I Love Books About Fairies (Promo)- Five Mile

Five Mile came with a brief that described a handful of characters to be placed in a fantasy world of castles in the sky, mushroom homes, and a woodsy backyard. Bippity Boppity Boop Disney fairies were the key inspiration.

A bookish girl, pudgy boy and a tiny easter bunny feature through the pink-green-yellow book and I had a fine time hanging out with them before they were packed up in a box with a set of fairy wings to be sold at a book fair. The Disney fairies – my version of them from memory do feature on a few pages!

Five Mile were great fun to work with. To date, they are the only Australian client I’ve had the pleasure to work with.
